Take Your Falconry Experience Into the Wild
The Hawk Walk takes your falconry experience into the serene oak woodland behind our center. This immersive walk allows you to work with a trained hawk in a natural environment, deepening your connection with the bird and the ancient art of falconry.
Picture a hawk swooping down from 20 to 60 feet above, or flying over 100 feet through the forest canopy to land gracefully on your glove. During this experience, we also replicate natural hunting behavior, allowing you to observe and participate in how hawks interact with their surroundings in the wild.
As you walk through the forest, you’ll learn more about the history of falconry, the ecological role of raptors, and the natural instincts that guide these powerful birds. It’s a breathtaking way to understand the hawk’s place in the environment—and your role as its partner.
There is no classroom more beautiful than the forest, and no better way to experience the thrill of falconry than side by side with a hawk in its natural setting. This is a fully interactive class you won’t soon forget.
