COVID-19 Safety and Health Practices

West Coast Falconry is Open for Classes!

In our desire to keep everyone safe, we have implemented the following practices for our outdoor classes –

  • Attendance in our group classes will be limited to no more than 10 participants/observers per program.
  • Social distancing (of 6’) will be strictly practiced throughout our programs.
  • All participants and/or observers will be asked to wear a face mask; if you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you.
  • Staff will don masks when approaching guests within 6 feet; as in adjusting a bird or putting meat on a guests’ glove.
  • Guests are required to wash/sanitize their hands before the start of class. Hand Sanitizer will be liberally provided and encouraged.
  • Leather gauntlets are washed and sanitized after each class.
  • Surgical gloves will be provided for all participants who wish to wear one under their falconry gauntlets.
  • If you feel unwell, please reschedule your class or ask for a gift card to reschedule at a late date.
  • Any participant/observer displaying any Covid-19 symptoms (fever, cough, etc.) will be required to leave the center and their class will be forfeit.
